Independent brewery, Beerfarm, has launched its inaugural mid-range Hazy Pale Ale, aiming to bridge the gap between its existing low and high ABV Hazy brews.

Taking hops from both Beerfarm’s already well-known and biggest-selling Royal Haze and its Hazy Standard, expertly crafted using their signature malt bill and house hazy yeast – this newcomer sits as the perfect middleman to the range.

As sessionable hazy styles continue to be a strong favourite in the craft space, the addition of its mid-range Hazy Pale – the third in its bench – will further help Beerfarm to capture a larger share of the craft beer market, as they work towards their ambition of being a national household name.

Beerfarm innovation and new product development manager, Charlotte Freeston, said the company has always had something big and something small, but what they really wanted to make was the Beerfarm Hazy Pale.

“Using the addition of New Zealand hops was a really exciting move and the Clayton Riwaka is so bright and bursting with passionfruit,” said Freeston.

“This beer hits the juicy nail on the head with the bright NZ hop character really shining against the juicy US hops we know and love – El Dorado and Idaho 7 – both staples in the other hazy family members.”

Beerfarm’s Hazy Pale debuts during an exciting time of growth for the brewery. With recent expansions including the Feral production facility acquisition in late August, key industry hires, and plans for the Glenworth Valley brewery and venue, the brewery is well positioned to brew plenty of their tasty nectar and distribute it into more hands across the nation.

Beerfarms’ Hazy Pale will be available from November across on and off-premise venues on both Australia’s east and west Coasts, as well as online with nationwide delivery at beerfarm.com.au.
