USANA Health Sciences has launched a range of bars which, it claims, satisfy sugar cravings without the added sugar.

Now available in Australia, MySmart Bars come in flavours of Coconut Cashew and Dark Chocolate, and are made with sustainably sourced ingredients such as organic coconut oil and roasted nuts.

The high-protein wholefoods included are reportedly nutrient-rich and contain vitamins and minerals, as well as phytonutrients, fibre, and essential fatty acids.

USANA created the product with a view to giving a simple solution for those who want wholefoods, but struggle with mid-afternoon cravings.

USANA Health Sciences was founded in 1992 in the US by microbiologist and immunologist Dr Myron Wentz.
