Haigh’s Chocolates has unveiled its 2024 Easter collection, inspired by the designs of European painted eggs, handcrafted and hand foiled in the chocolatiers South Australian factories.

The 2024 Easter collection is inspired by traditional European handcrafted paper craftwork and decorated painted eggs, featuring unique floral designs in blue, lilac, gold and green across all gift boxes, and Easter egg ribbed foils.

Haigh’s said it expects to produce more than 5 million individual chocolate Easter eggs this season.

Haigh’s Chocolates chief executive, Alister Haigh said the collection was prepared from an exclusive chocolate blend created by Haigh’s, using its specialised bean to bar chocolate making process.

“Our Easter range is crafted from a unique blend of chocolate that is only used at Easter time.

“We believe that it is the combination of this blend combined with other high quality ingredients and our years of chocolate making experience that makes it the best tasting range of Easter gifts in Australia,” said Haigh.

The 2024 collection will feature a selection of new items, including a dark green egg- shaped Gift Box filled with traditional Hot Cross Bun Truffles, alongside two new flavours; Milk Blueberry Hot Cross Bun, a fudge centre filled with blueberries and blueberry puree and Dark Apple and Cinnamon Hot Cross Bun, featuring a cinnamon infused milk fudge centre with sweet apple pieces.

Also new is a Milk Hot Cross Bun Crunch Egg infused with spiced toffee, currants, and orange pieces. It sits alongside the Milk Honeycomb, Dark Honeycomb and Salted Macadamia boxed Easter Eggs that are all back by popular demand.

Returning favourites include Half Eggs, filled with Milk and Dark Scorched Almonds, Speckles, Mini Eggs and for the first time, Chocolate Frogs. The latest editions also include the floral-patterned Easter Egg Tin, filled with the Chocolate Easter Mixture, new Mini Mug with chocolate egg perfectly sized for an espresso or babycino and the Easter Hamper Tin filled with a selection of Easter treats.

The Easter Bilby also returns in 2024 marking 31 years of Haigh’s proudly supporting the Foundation for Rabbit-Free Australia. Part proceeds from the sale of every Easter Bilby goes to support their work of protecting the environment for both food production and indigenous biodiversity, including the Bilby, an endangered native marsupial. Custom illustrations of the Bilby and its friend, the Cockatoo, are featured on a selection of gifts.

The Easter 2024 collection is available online and in all Haigh’s Chocolates stores across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Canberra.
