Fashion brand Gorman and Handpicked Wines have collaborated for a limited edition rosé release, made with fruit from Handpicked’s award-winning Yarra Valley vineyards.

This is the second collaboration between the two brands, following its Chardonnay and Pinot Noir release in 2018, debuted on the opening runaway of Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

The label artwork is inspired by Mediterranean Magnifica, the latest Gorman Collection, and features hand-drawn edibles and summertime flora to give an essence of “life spent in the sun”.

“Wine and fashion are the perfect marriage; a partnership of opposites attracts,” said Handpicked Wines director of winemaking Peter Dillon.

“The challenge to hold an authentic and sustainable vision is present in both industries which is where our values with Gorman align.”

It is the third year Handpicked Wines has launched a limited edition rosé project, partnering with Romance Was Born for the 2017 and 2018 editions.

The Gorman x Handpicked Wines rosé is now available online and at the Handpicked Wines cellar in Chippendale, Sydney, for RRP $28.99.
