Nestle's Nespresso has relaunched its popular Grand Cru coffee in a limited edition variety called Tribute to Milano.

Made to reflect the rich history and culture within Milan, the coffee is a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans that results in a balance of “fine fruity aromas and sweet cereal notes”, according to the company.

Nespresso coffee ambassador Mitch Monaghan says Australians have a love for a more intense coffee and discovering new coffee cultures.

“Originally launched in 2015, bringing back the Limited Edition Tribute to Milano is our way of showing our customers we know what they love,” he says.

Tribute to Milano is best enjoyed as a Ristretto of 20ml, he says.

The Tribute to Milano Limited Edition Grand Cru has a mild bitterness and acidity with a rounded body and high intensity.

Recommended retail price is $9.30 for a sleeve of 10 capsules.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
