San Remo has released San Remo Active Plus, a new range of pasta enriched with fibre, vitamins B1, B6 and folic acid to help Aussies achieve nutritional balance, available in both Spaghetti and Penne.

San Remo Active Plus contains three times more fibre than regular durum wheat pasta, vitamin B, vitamin B6, and folic acid.

San Remo CMO James Askham-Levy said the new range blended traditional Italian pasta-making with technology to produce wholesome durum wheat pasta.

“In 2023, consumers and customers can continue to explore new and convenient ways to introduce health and wellness into their lives while San Remo continues to meet these needs through innovation.

“Active Plus made from 100 per cent Australian Durum Wheat, which is the same as all our red bag pasta SKUs, and is manufactured in South Australia.

“The range was designed by San Remo’s Research and Development team, who continue to meet customer demands through break-through innovation such as Pulse Pasta, Ready Pasta and Pasta Pro,” said Askham-Levy.

With a five-health star rating, San Remo Active Plus has no artificial colours, flavours or added preservatives; and is available in Spaghetti 500g and Penne 500g for RRP $3.30 per pack at Coles.
