Master Data Management (MDM) solutions company Stibo Systems has gained certification from GS1 Australia for its STEP Trailblazer software.
This means suppliers and brand owners can successfully load and maintain the National Product Catalogue in order to provide item and price synchronisation to trading partners.
STEP Trailblazer is a platform that simplifies product data management and B2B transactions between trading partners across the supply chain process, the company says.
The National Product Catalogue is GS1 Australia’s data synchronisation solution for Australian and New Zealand markets, allowing trading partners to exchange product details, pricing, trade and marketing-related information across product categories.
Stibo Systems MD Willem van Dijk said organisations often struggled to trade and transport goods due to inaccurate and incomplete supply chain data, which "diminishes agility and impacts the ability to set up new products".
He said STEP Trailblazer was designed to help suppliers and brand owners easily connect to the NPC, and improve the data exchange throughout the supply chain to reduce errors and create accurate information.
The certification program ensures the software solution from Stibo Systems meets a minimum set of criteria required by suppliers and brand owners to successfully implement the National Product Catalogue.
