For those who missed visiting foodpro this year, Mixquip provides an update on the Australian-made Mixquip Series 200 Tote Mixer.

The Mixquip Series 200 Tote Mixer, equipped with the Toro-Jet Impeller, is capable of mixing highly viscous liquids.

At foodpro, the operating display featured a clear window on the front, attracting significant attention from a broad cross-section of visitors and exhibitors.

Some attendees didn’t realise it was possible to mix in a Tote while others weren’t aware that very viscous products could be mixed. In fact, from syrups and sauces through to thick purees with 50 per cent plus solids content, the three phase 3kW Mixquip Bridge Mounted Tote Mixer can thoroughly mix up to 12,000cP viscosity.

The variable speed control enables different mixing intensities, all with the one mixer.

If you need a sanitary, all Australian made Tote mixer, that can be used for virtually any product that is transported or stored in an Tote, contact Mixquip or visit mixquip.com.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
