Mettler Toledo has released a range of adjustable-cavity weights aimed at simplifying routine balance testing in production environments.

According to the company, the weight cavity’s threaded aperture enables adjustment via a gentle twist without the need for specialised equipment.

The Standard Line knob-style test weights have been produced according to ISO 9001 guidelines and fulfil OIML R111 requirements.

The weights range from 1mg through to 20kg to meet the routine testing needs of nearly any balance or application.

Both knobs and sheet weights are made of high-quality stainless steel, and the elimination of specialised equipment required for adjustment reduces the time and expense associated with test-weight maintenance.

In addition to being easily adjusted for ongoing process accuracy, the Standard Line resists dust and moisture, adding to the weights’ long-term stability.

The weights can also be cleaned with alcohol to reduce cross-contamination risk.

The weights are available singly or in sets, and come in shock-resistant boxes that conform to FDA standards, which keeps them clean and protects them from accidental damage.
