Vaccum automation and ergonomic handling manufacturer Schmalz has introduced the Jumbo Low-Stack to its Jumbo portfolio of vacuum tube lifters. It includes configuration capabilities for its lifting unit, operator handle, suction cup and vacuum generator.

It can pick up cardboard boxes, metal goods or sacks from pallets that are close to the ground while the user stands upright. Its modular system is based on the JumboErgo and Sprint vacuum tube lifters.

Schmalz has equipped the Jumbo Low-Stack with a new release function that removes the residual vacuum between the gripper and the workpiece. It means the user can now release the suction cup from the workpiece without any extra force.

The Jumbo Low-Stack also features a lift tube which contracts and extends when lifting and lowering the load, with a stroke range of 1400 to 800 millimeters.

As part of the jumbo family, the new Low-Stack product is set to provide ergonomic solutions for frequent and fast lifting during machine loading, in shipping and within commissioning areas.
