Food safety company, Hygiena, is making its product range easier for industry access across Australia, with the launch of its dedicated Australian e-commerce platform.

Designed to meet the needs of both small and large businesses, the new web store ensures seamless access to food safety products, competitive pricing, and superior customer service.

Food and beverage businesses will now be able to order Hygiena’s full range of food safety testing solutions and have them delivered anywhere in Australia. The launch marks a significant milestone in Hygiena’s direct-to-customer strategy in Australia, following its transition to a direct business model last year.

Hygiena APAC marketing director, Andrew Woodward, said the company understands the challenges of serving a country as vast as Australia.

“Our new e-commerce solution enables all customers – regardless of size or location – to order quickly and efficiently,” said Woodward.

“This platform is not just about convenience; it’s about delivering a better experience for our customers and ensuring they have what they need when they need it.”

Hygiena’s investment in e-commerce aligns with the broader industry shift toward digital purchasing channels in the APAC region. In October 2024, the company partnered with market expansion services provider, DKSH, to help expand its reach in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

Now, as demand for B2B and B2C e-commerce continues to rise, the Australian platform is set to play a key role in supporting the company’s future growth across the region. For more information and to view Hygiena's product range, head to au-store.hygiena.com.

Hygiena is headquartered in Camarillo, California with numerous offices and customer application centres in Australia, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and Africa. The company also partners with over 180 distributors in more than 100 countries worldwide.

Pact Group is facing softening demand in Q4, citing Donald Trump’s tariffs, the ongoing domestic cost of living pressures, and supply chain disruption with shipping container supply tightening.

Raphael Geminder is following through on his stated intention to delist Pact Group in light of his failed takeover of the company, and has set 16 July as the date he wants it off the ASX.
