Enerpac's telescopic cylinders provide long strokes in confined spaces for efficiency and safety, according to the company.

The hydraulic cylinders can lift loads of up to 600mm in a single movement, and are now being launched by Enerpac in Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea.

The RT Series long-stroke multi-stage telescopic cylinders – in capacities from 14-31 tonnes – are designed for long cylinder strokes in confined spaces. They are particularly suited for extended lift heights when clearance is limited.

The telescopic cylinders feature a multi-stage rod built from a series of nested steel tubes of progressively small diameter.

The longer stroke length of the telescopic cylinders are designed to save operators time and simplify projects by moving loads for a longer distance and eliminating the use of temporary cribbing.

They also save time and labour, and offer WHS benefits by enabling the power and precision of hydraulics to be applied swiftly without the need for multiple setups and plunger extensions required for shorter-stroke types.

Enerpac’s 700-bar high-pressure engineering is designed to concentrate more lifting power into smaller cylinders.

Enerpac as been established in Australia and New Zealand as a supplier of high-pressure (700 bar) hydraulic equipment for 50 years.

New Cleanaway research reveals overwhelming support for packaging reform, recycled content mandates and national recycling rules, as industry looks to policy certainty to unlock the next wave of recycling infrastructure investment.

Three months after fears of a plastics supply crisis first rippled through Australia's packaging sector, the immediate sense of alarm has eased. Supply chains are still under pressure, prices remain elevated, and uncertainty persists, but PKN's conversations across the packaging value chain suggest the industry has shifted from crisis response to resilience management.

Australia’s first National Environmental Protection Agency has appointed veteran public sector leader John Bradley as its inaugural CEO, ahead of the agency’s official launch on 1 July.
