Aldus Engineering Pty Ltd and Tronics Pty Ltd have merged to form Aldus-Tronics Pty Ltd.

Aldus Engineering, established in 1949, has been serving the graphics industry in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia for nearly 70 years.

Originally manufacturing flexo printing presses and slitting systems, Aldus now distributes and services Mark Andy printing presses, Rotoflex slitters, Tidland air shafts, Fife edge guides and tensions control systems, Epson digital presses and other related products.

Tronics, established in 1985, has been manufacturing labellers for over 30 years.

Since 2001, Tronics has also been the Videojet distributor in Australia and New Zealand, with subsidiaries in the US, New Zealand and Malaysia.

Aldus-Tronics CEO Frank Floriano and Aldus general manager Ian Guanaria said they were delighted with the merger and looking forward to delivering greater value to customers, suppliers and staff.

The merged entity will be exhibiting at Auspack 2017, stand 26, on 7-10 March at Sydney Showground and at Pacprint, stand F60, Melbourne Exhibition Centre 23-26 May.
