The Western Australian government has announced recipients for round seven of its Agrifood and Beverage Voucher Program, offering a share of $680,000 in funding to small-to-medium food and beverage companies looking to access professional advice to accelerate business growth.
This latest round will be shared among 80 Western Australian businesses, including those in meat processing, bakery, wine, spirits, honey, pasta, pre-packed meals, probiotics, juice, ice cream and food supplements. The full list of companies is available here.
Since 2018, the program has issued more than 436 vouchers valued at $2.4 million, leveraging over $3.38 million in business co-investment. The government stated this round alone is expected to generate more than $884,000 in co-contributions, supporting projects in business planning, manufacturing for growth, sales and marketing, and environmental sustainability.
Past recipients have used vouchers to improve production efficiencies, develop new product lines, create distribution channels and access new markets – strengthening WA's reputation for quality and innovation.
Western Australian Agriculture and Food Minister, Jackie Jarvis, said the strong interest in the Agrifood and Beverage Voucher Program highlights the value of this initiative in helping businesses seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and build growth, innovation and resilience in a sustainable way.
“This long-running and highly successful program is also equipping these businesses with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to strengthen operations, innovate and expand,” said Jarvis.
Funding for the Agrifood and Beverage Voucher Program increased from $500,000 in 2024 to $680,000 in 2025, offering opportunities for more local businesses to apply and grow.
Western Australia also supports the state’s agrifood and beverage sector through its Value Add Investment Grant program, which recently contributed $437,500 to support business expansion, diversification, and growth.
