Northern Beaches health brand, True Protein, has expanded its protein bar range in four fruity flavours – Blueberry Cashew, Lemon Zest, Banana Bliss, and Mango Delight.

Aiming to lean away from the indulgent, chocolate-heavy bars that have long defined the category, True Protein wanted to offer a lighter option, tasting like it belongs in the fresh produce aisle rather than the supplement shelf.

The company stated the new fruit-flavoured bars are made with 100 per cent natural whole foods, almonds, dates, chia seeds, and Himalayan pink salt, combined with a premium blend of whey protein concentrate and hydrolysed collagen. Each bar is designed to support lean muscle growth, post-workout recovery, and gut health, with a macronutrient profile high in protein, healthy fats, and fibre.

True Protein COO, Lachlan Cornwell, said protein bars have become predictable.

“We wanted to create something lighter, satisfying and different,” said Cornwell.

“The most common reaction from people trying these for the first time is: ‘This doesn't taste like a protein bar.’ That's exactly what we were going for.”

The new flavours join a range that already includes Rich Chocolate, Salted Caramel, Cookies & Cream, Toasted Coconut, Choc Mint, Choc Peanut Butter. The new release follows the launch of the company’s ready-to-drink (RTD) True All Natural Protein Shake in April.

True Protein new fruit-flavoured bars are now available online at trueprotein.com.au and at select wholesalers, for RRP $65.00 in a 12-pack.
