Mudgee based Three Tails Brewery has partnered with Robert Stein Winery for a new addition to its Two Worlds Collide range – Rosé Lager.
The latest beer is a fusion of Stein’s 2025 Cabernet grapes and Three Tails’ Enigma hops, creating a beer that’s pink and bubbly, with just the right amount of sweetness.
Three Tails Brewery co-owner, Mick Ash, said the latest Two Worlds Collide brew is a crisp, refreshing lager that perfectly showcases the Stein family’s award-winning grapes and Three Tails passion for making boutique beer.
“These collaborations have become some of our most popular and favourite beers to produce – we get to partner with likeminded Mudgee businesses and expand our knowledge, experience and creativity,” said Ash.
“As our winemaker friends’ old saying goes: ‘it takes a lot of great beer to make great wine’ – so why not join them?”
The Rosé Lager is the third collaboration between Three Tails and Robert Stein Winery, who worked together on previous Two Worlds’ Collide releases – a Cabernet Stout and a Shiraz barrel-aged lager.
Collaboration is in the DNA of Three Tails, who also released Mudgee Mochaccino with Acreage Coffee and local chocolatier Spencer Cocoa in September 2024, and Love and Chaos, inspired and designed with the eponymous tattoo parlour.
Robert Stein Winery winemaker, Jacob Stein, said the company always looks forward to working with Three Tails.
“It’s a good excuse to try something a bit different and have some fun with it. This Rosé Lager is one of those times where the experiment actually worked. We’ve landed on a fresh, vibrant drink that's a whole lot of fun – we can’t wait to get it out there and see what people think,” said Stein.
Two Worlds Collide Rosé Lager is now available at Three Tails Brewery, Robert Stein Winery and select Central West NSW suppliers.
