The biggest annual African festival is back, bigger and better

Held at one of the largest venues, Sydney Olympic Park this year it enters its 15th year and will showcase more than 70 stalls, a line-up of musical talent and foods from all around the continent.

Delicious cuisine from across the African continent, fashion prints and catwalks, sports clinics and A-list performers is what you can expect for the Africultures festival this year.

The festival is returning to Cathy Freeman Park at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 2 September with a jam-packed program including food, art, music, and dance.

The event will cost $5+booking fee and all proceedings will go towards the continuation of the festival. Africultures is a volunteer-run festival which is enabled through sponsorship, fees and grant funding. 

Africultures is made possible by the commitment of our volunteers and the support of our sponsors, Somali Welfare and Cultural Centre, Sydney Olympic Park Authority, Multicultural NSW, City of Parramatta, UTS Business School and ABC Radio Sydney.

Australia’s largest and most influential food trade event is back in Sydney this year. Fine Food Australia 2025 will take place from 8–11 September at the ICC Sydney, and bring together the full foodservice, hospitality, and retail industry for four powerful days of product discovery, education, and business connection.

The 13th ICSD 2025 will be an opportunity to share ideas and research findings relevant to the Sustainability Science, through the European network of academics.
