Melbourne-based water solutions brand, Rippl is making waves with a disruptive model that merges premium hydration, brand personalisation and sustainable packaging – enabled by digital direct-to-can printing technology from Onpack.

Rippl, a fast-growing Melbourne-based water brand, is redefining hydration through a smart mix of premium mineral water, brand customisation and sustainability. By partnering with packaging specialist Onpack, Rippl delivers fully branded aluminium cans of mineral-rich, high-alkaline mineral water in both still and sparkling formats.
Founded in 2023, Rippl targets customer-facing corporates, retailers, event organisers and other businesses seeking a high-impact, health-conscious and sustainable promotional product. “From the outset, we wanted to create a product that merges wellness, sustainability, and cost-effective marketing,” said Rippl CEO Bade Hilton. “Rippl enables companies to put their brand directly into their customer’s hands from $2 per unit. With low minimum order quantities (MOQs) and fast turnaround times, Rippl is providing volcanic alkaline mineral water from Victoria – it’s something they’ll want to drink.”
Each can is digitally printed by Onpack using Hinterkopf direct-to-object printing technology. With no labels or sleeves, the full-colour graphics wrap around the aluminium surface, creating a seamless, fully recyclable package. Since launching, Rippl has partnered with over 350 leading Australian brands, and counting.

“Packaging plays a huge role in our customer promise,” Hilton said. “It enables the fast turnaround, premium aesthetic and confidence in our product – we simply couldn’t do this without Onpack’s technology and expertise.”
Rippl currently offers its custom-branded product in a 330ml slim can, printed and filled locally. Co-manufacturing allows the company to stay flexible while focusing on building its brand and expanding into new offerings.
Next on the horizon is the launch of digitally printed aluminium bottles in 400ml and 600ml sizes – a reusable format that extends the brand’s sustainability focus. “We’re working closely with Onpack and their German technology partners to ensure full-colour HD print coverage to the neck of the bottle,” Hilton said. “It will be a first for Australia in low MOQs.”
Rippl is also set to offer limited edition flavours and expand its footprint overseas, targeting the UK, Europe and UAE, and is developing its own water filtration solutions to become a full-service water technology brand.
Available in 7-Eleven stores across Australia under the Rippl brand, the company also works with leading businesses such as Mecca, CBRE, New Balance, Wilson and Salomon, providing custom hydration that’s as functional as it is promotional.
