“We have established Aaron’s Organics as one of Sydney’ main alternative milk distributors, DrinkScene gives us scope to do the same in a broader beverage market and audience,” Zerefos told Food & Drink Business.

Zerefos acquired the premium organic beverage brand C Coconut Water in 2015 and expanded into the US market in 2017. In 2019, he acquired distribution business Ozone Organics, which included Fiji Water and JUST Water.

Zerefos bought DrinkScene from Paul Jenner, who launched the beverage business in 2014.

“DrinkScene has been on my radar for a while, I liked what Paul Jenner has created. He was a great competitor and we will keep the DrinkScene flag flying,” he said.

“We currently supply more than 3,000 accounts in Australia, as well as our American distribution network. We’re focused on the Sydney and eastern seaboard but will be looking to expand in due course.

DrinkScene really is a one stop shop for all your non-alcoholic beverage needs, whether you are running a household or a café. Our goal is to connect people with authentic and innovative non-alcoholic beverages,” Zerefos said.
