Wiley has received three nominations in the Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Awards 2020, recognising the company’s project deliveries across the food and beverage manufacturing space.
The projects are:
- Gundagai Meat Processors: Facility extension – David Burton-Bradley (project manager);
- Fareshare: Community kitchen facility – Lauren Elliss (project manager) and Brendan Dickson (site manager); and
- Ridley: New extrusion feed mill – Logan Ashmole (senior project manager).
Wiley CEO Robert Barron said the awards were an exciting platform to delve into the delivery of projects, as well as showcase the advances and investments clients are taking in their respective industries.
“Many stories and fantastic memories are shared with our clients when we work together on a project and it’s always great to look back upon these and connect with our clients again,” said Barron.
“We are proud to have been nominated but we couldn’t be here without our clients. We wish all nominees the very best and look forward to some exciting competition.”
In 2019, Wiley took home three AIB awards for JBS, Northern Rivers Livestock Exchange and Saint Stephens College Music Centre.
In September, Wiley expanded its operations into Tasmania, with existing offices in Sydney, Melbourne and headquarters in Brisbane. It also has offices in New Zealand and Asia.
The AIB Awards 2020 will be held in Queensland at the end of the year. For the past 50 years, the awards has showcased building professionals for their work in the construction industry.
