Diageo Australia has launched its biggest national brand campaign in a decade for Scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker.

The $15 million campaign will be activated over the next 18 months in the Australian market only.

Marketing and innovation director Adam Ballesty said the campaign had been created specifically for and in the Australian market.

Named The Next Step, the campaign is a new take on Johnnie Walker’s iconic ‘Keep Walking’ brand positioning and its spirit of personal progress.

Diageo will also soon unveil updated branding, alongside a new TVC surrounding the theme of personal progress and achievement:

Asahi Beverages says all plastic soft drink bottles it produces in Australia are now made from 100 per cent recycled plastic, excluding caps and labels. The conversion covers 350 million bottles a year.
