Vanguard Luxury Brands, Lion’s craft spirits distribution business, will be the exclusive Australian distributor for Maison Ferrand. Its brands include Planteray Rum, Citadelle Gin and Ferrand Dry Curaçao.

Maison Ferrand was founded in the Cognac region of France in 1989, with the mission “to preserve and revive traditional production methods that capture the true expression of the spirit”.

Vanguard commercial director, Adam Trewin, said, “The family-owned authenticity, provenance & premium quality of Planteray Rum, Citadelle Gin & Ferrand Dry Curaçao make them a perfect fit for Vanguards portfolio.”

For Maison Ferrand, Lion’s scale and hospitality market penetration made the partnership particularly appealing.

The ranging includes nine Plantation rums, two Citadelle gins, and the Ferrand Dry Curaçao.
