Social enterprise Thankyou took home the 2016 Coolest Company award at the 11th annual Anthill Magazine Cool Company Awards, held in Melbourne this month.

The Anthill Cool Company Awards celebrate businesses that are doing things differently to bring about positive change.

This year’s awards attracted nominations from over 700 organisations, and Thankyou was recognised for "its commitment to positive culture, leadership, trendsetting, and putting attitude to action".

Thankyou was launched in 2008 with the aim of creating consumer products whereby 100 per cent of the profits would be used to help end global poverty.

In eight years, Thankyou has given over $4.8 million to projects and helped over 570,000 people in 18 countries.

Thankyou’s complete product range includes baby, body care, food and water products.
