Tassal has launched a new range of salmon-based burgers that are made with 96 per cent salmon and 4 per cent spice mix.

Tassal says the burgers are made with responsibly sourced Atlantic salmon from the waters of Tasmania and do not contain any artificial additives, colours or preservatives.

According to Tassal, they taste like Tassie Altantic salmon, but are not so overpowering as to turn off kids.

Tassal Salmon Burgers are available in the freezer section at Coles and come in two flavours: Lemon Pepper and Dill & Chives.

They have a recommended retail price of $7.99.
