ASX-listed TasFoods Ltd will exclusively distribute the beverage portfolio of The Juice Guys in Tasmania. The Juice Guys is part of South Australian based beverage business Australian Pure Fruits.

TasFoods’ distribution and logistics capabilities in the state are anchored by its Betta Milk business. It already partners with Sanitarium’s The Alternative Dairy Co to distribute its range.

TasFoods CEO Scott Hadley said the agreement was a good fit for both companies, with TasFood’s distribution and Juice Guys’ beverage portfolio.

“We have already received strong feedback from our customers that they welcome our increased presence in this category, and we look forward to mutual growth in the years ahead,” Hadley said.

Australian Pure Fruits national sales manager Roger Gentile said the pairing made “complete sense”.

“We share similar values and want all consumers across Australia to be offered our range of premium products,” he said.

TasFoods had a “strategic reset” last year that established four pillars of growth. it owns brands Meander Valley Dairy, Nichols Poultry, Shima Wasabi, Pyengana Dairy, and Betta Milk.

“Fortress Tasmania was a main area of focus as we look to capitalise on our home-grown advantage. Leveraging our strong logistics network and improved capability we are now in a position to partner with businesses to bring a range of beverages to the market,” Hadley said.

Hadley joined TasFoods in October 2021, having been CEO of Asahi Beverages Alcohol for almost seven years.
