A range of gourmet food brands headed to Darling Island to spruik their wares at an industry chocolate, bakery and patisserie showcase in Sydney this week.

Pepe Saya, La Rose Noire, Callebaut, Cacao Barry, Ravifruit, Sosa, Heilala, Silikomart, Mona Lisa, Crumpets by Merna, and the new Van Houten Professional Range were among those offering samples of their wares to food service professionals at Doltone House on Wednesday.

Pastry chef and choclatier Kirsten Tibbals was just one of those demonstrating at the event, which was organised by importer and Australian food service distributor F Mayer Imports.

Mayer has a catalogue of over 1000 gourmet food products in the dry, chilled and frozen food categories. Click through the gallery above for a small taste.
