The Byron Bay Cookie Company has rebranded one of its cookie varieties to raise money for a suicide prevention charity.

For a limited time, the packaging on the Milk Choc Chunk variety – as well as the product – has been changed to reflect the work of Australian charity R U OK.

The cookie has been baked in a way that makes it easy to break in half and share with a friend, family member or work colleague, reflecting the work of R U OK in getting alongside those who are struggling emotionally.

Ahead of R U OK? Day on Thursday 13 September, the R U OK? Cookie will be sold in selected cafes and independent retailers, or be available to purchase on the R U OK website.

A minimum of 5 cents from every R U OK? cookie sold in the lead up to R U OK? Day will be donated to the charity.

RRP is $36 for a box of 12 individually wrapped cookies.
