Pure Wine Co has been appointed as the exclusive national mainland distributor for Tasmanian winery, Pipers Brook Vineyard. Effective from 1 March, Pure Wine Co will manage national mainland distribution and trade sales for Pipers Brook and its Kreglinger Sparkling, Pipers Tasmania and Ninth Island labels.

Established in 1974, Pipers Brook Vineyard is situated in Tasmania’s north-east, and operates under the stewardship of the de Moor family of Launceston. From sites in Pipers Brook and the West Tamar, the companies range of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, aromatic whites and sparkling wines are celebrated for precision, purity, and sense of place.

Pipers Brook Vineyard managing director, Paul de Moor, said the partnership marks a strong step in expanding the national presence of the portfolio.

“Partnering with Pure Wine Co reflects our ambition to continue growing the presence of our iconic Tasmanian wines nationally,” said de Moor.

“Pure’s values, people, and track record in the premium category make them an ideal partner to represent our brands. We see tremendous opportunity ahead to deepen engagement with trade and consumers who seek authenticity, provenance and quality.”

Pure Wine Co also distributes major brands including Champagne Devaux, Château de Meursault, Château La Nerthe, DiGiorgio, Pepper Tree, Pipers Brook, Peyrassol, and Tommasi.

The new partnership brings together two companies with a shared focus on quality, heritage, and innovation, which aims to strengthen access to these Tasmanian wines across on-premise and retail channels throughout Australia. Distribution in Tasmania will continue to be managed by the Pipers Brook team directly.

Pure Wine Co executive chair, Joanna Chronis, said the addition of the Tasmanian portfolio enhances the company’s offering across Australia.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with the team at Pipers Brook and represent these iconic Tasmanian brands,” said Chronis.

“Kreglinger Sparkling, Pipers Brook and Ninth Island have an exceptional reputation built on quality and heritage, attributes that align perfectly with Pure’s portfolio.

“This partnership, between two family-owned and run businesses, delivers meaningful growth for our business, our people and the industry, and also gives our customers access to Tasmania’s most distinctive wines,” she said.
