Carlton United Brewers (CUB) has extended its range of Bulmers cider with a ginger variant, supported with a tongue-in-cheek Facebook page “Bulmers-Proud to
be Ginger”

Sweet to taste and with a dry crisp finish, Bulmers Ginger is made using fermented ginger, delivering a refreshing taste with a hefty bite and a hint of lemon.  True to its roots, Bulmers Ginger is amber in colour with a golden hue and a fresh ginger aroma, overlaying the distinct apple cider characters.

Cider is currently the fastest growing category in Australia, growing by 43 per cent volume in the year to June 2012, according to Nielsen Liquor. Bulmers continues to hold a strong share of the category with Bulmers Original, Bulmers Pear, Bulmers Blackcurrant all part of the range.

With the launch of its first ever Facebook page in Australia, Bulmers is screaming from the social media rooftops that it is ‘proud to be ginger’ and it’s asking punters what they’re proud to be.

Bulmers Ginger is available in 500ml bottles from premium venues and bottle shops nationally at RRP $6.50 per 500ml bottle.
