Australia’s largest family-owned health and wellness supplements brand, PharmaCare, has bought Bounce, which went into voluntary administration last month.

Bounce is PharmaCare’s 28th brand and will join Go Natural in its health food division. Other brands it the company’s portfolio include Nature’s Way, Sambucol, Bioglan, and SUP Supplements. 

PharmaCare CEO Glenn Cochran said the acquisition was a strategic one that played to the company’s focus on building a brand portfolio of high-quality, delicious, and readily available products.

“This announcement underscores PharmaCare’s commitment to grow through local acquisition. We have a strong team of experts in the natural health sector who are already putting their collective minds behind the success of the brand to support Bounce customers to achieve a seamless transition of ownership,” Cochran said.  

He added that the first priority of the acquisition would be to drive continuity with Bounce’s existing customer network in the Australian market by reviewing the product range and focusing on 11 core products including the renowned Bounce Protein Balls. 

“The Bounce brand has a strong and loyal customer base, particularly with female shoppers across grocery, petrol, and convenience. Our team is excited to continue supplying the beloved Bounce balls and more to Australians across the country who enjoy healthy snacking on-the-go,” said Cochran.
