Great Temptations has signed a partnership agreement with Coles Express to supply two of its popular sweet treats nationally.

The Perth-based bakery will stock its two-pack orange and poppy seed muffins and two-pack chocolate brownies in 200 Coles Express stores in the convenience aisles.

Great Temptations already supplies baked goods to hundreds of independent suppliers, but this is the first time its products will be available across a national portfolio of stores.

The orange and poppyseed muffins are soft sponge cakes and the chocolate brownies are chocolate cake with chocolate chips.

“We’re really delighted to be supplying Coles Express stores nationally,” Great Temptations managing director Carl Quarrell says. “Having a national presence in Coles Express adds another dimension to our brand. The more places our customers can find our product the better.”

The Western Australia based bakery is also about to launch new gluten-free chocolate chip cookies and macaroons.

“We know there’s a huge demand for gluten free, so we’re sure this new range will be well received by our customers,” Quarrell says.

“We’re continually looking at ways in which we can expand and develop our product range and there’s even more exciting things coming in 2019.”
