PepsiCo has appointed Alexia Horley to the role of chief executive officer for Australia and New Zealand Foods, taking over from Kyle Faulconer, who is returning to the US to take up the position of senior vice president at PepsiCo North America Commercial.

Horley currently serves as general manager of Australia Foods for PepsiCo, a position she has held since February 2024, and will assume the CEO role from 21 July. Since joining PepsiCo in 2005, she has held multiple senior roles across Australia and Asia Pacific, including chief commercial officer for Australia Foods and GM Beverages, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.

PepsiCo CEO APAC Foods, Anne Tse, said Horley is uniquely positioned to lead ANZ Foods into its next phase of growth.

“Alexia’s strong strategic mindset, relentless consumer focus and deep expertise in the ANZ retail landscape position her perfectly to lead the business forward,” said Tse.

“She’s a highly respected and dynamic leader and I’m looking forward to partnering with her as we continue to build momentum and shape the future of ANZ Foods.”

As GM of Australia Foods, the company stated Horley has been instrumental in transforming the business into an indispensable partner for customers through market-leading commercial capabilities, and her relentless consumer focus has resulted in product innovation across new formats and occasions.

Under her leadership, PepsiCo Australia’s manufacturing footprint has expanded, including significant investment in new multipack capabilities and an additional production line for Red Rock Deli, to meet increasing demand and support growth.

“I’m honoured to step into the role of CEO and excited to lead such a passionate and talented team,” said Horley.

“I’m committed to building on our strong foundations and driving sustainable growth across every part of the ANZ Foods business and most importantly continue to deliver the best snacks to Aussie and Kiwi consumers under our iconic portfolio of brands.”

Stephan Anderson will remain as GM ANZ Beverages and ANZ CFO, reporting to GM Asia & ANZ Beverages and SVP CFO APAC foods.
