Pepsi Max is partnering with taxi and ridesharing service GoCatch to provide free rides to Sydneysiders for the rest of January.

GoCatch app users will be able to see the Pepsi Max Kombi kombi on the map within the app, and upon requesting a booking, could get a free ride anywhere in the Sydney metropolitan area.

Pepsi Max will also launch its first branded Snapchat lens on Australia Day, and will give away 15,000 cans of Pepsi Max in GoCatch vehicles nationwide over the Australia Day long weekend.

The partnership is the latest instalment in Pepsi Max’s #MaxYourSummer campaign, which saw commuters given free beach trips in the kombi in December from Sydney’s most notorious public transport pain points.

PepsiCo marketing director Tami Cunningham said: “Pepsi Max’s summer campaign has been all about inspiring Aussies to max their summer in ingenious ways.

“We are excited to bring this to life for our consumers and make some of the pain points of summer more bearable through GoCatch’s technology.”

Genevieve Liston, Head of Marketing & Partnerships, GoCatch, said: “We’re always looking for fun and innovative ways to make life easier for commuters, and what better way to Max Your Summer than by getting a free ride in an iconic kombi in the busy January holiday period.”
