Brown Family Wine Group has partnered with Oatley Fine Wine Merchants (OFWM) in a strategic distribution agreement, aiming to increase visibility of its luxury wine portfolio.

As of 1 September, OFWM is the exclusive distributor of Brown Family brands, Tamar Ridge and Pirie, for the independent retail channel and all on-premise venues across Australia.

The company stated this collaboration brings together two of Australia’s most respected family-owned wine businesses, united by a shared commitment to quality, heritage, and innovation.

Newly appointed Brown Family Wine Group general manager for luxury wines, Julien Marteau, will lead the portfolio, alongside luxury portfolio manager and fourth- generation Brown family member, Katherine Brown.

“Tasmania is producing some of the most exciting wines in the country right now,” said Marteau.

“With Tamar Ridge and Pirie, we have the opportunity to showcase the elegance, purity, and finesse that define the region. Partnering with Oatley Fine Wine Merchants allows us to bring these wines to more fine-dining tables, more curated wine-lists, more cellars, and more passionate wine lovers across Australia.”

Brown Family Wine Group will continue to manage major national chain customers, e- commerce, cellar door operations and export markets internally, ensuring a seamless experience for all customers.
