Brisbane-based Flavour Creations has launched a range of cheesecakes that stay fresh outside the fridge.

The new range, which is being sold under the company’s Nourish brand, is made with 100 per cent real cream cheese, is gluten and nut free, and has a 12-month shelf life stored at ambient temperature.

The range was initially designed and developed by Flavour Creations for individuals suffering from dysphagia, or difficulty with swallowing.

Flavour Creation’s head of marketing, Liam Murphy, says the availability of the range on the supermarket shelf was a natural progression for the popular product.

“Our entire range is self-stable which means no refrigeration is required,” he says. “This uniqueness has translated well with consumers, especially with parents looking for tasty and nutritious dessert options for the school lunchbox.”

The range comes in four flavours – Passionfruit, Lemon, Mixed Berry and Chocolate – and is being sold at Woolworths nationwide in 2x120g packs at RRP $3.99.
