A new subscription service for gin lovers and enthusiasts has been founded to curate and share craft creations from across the globe.

The Gin Society was launched in Australia on International Gin & Tonic day in October by founder Andrew Burge, and is also looking to launch in the UK early 2019.

The Gin Society is described as Australia’s most adventurous members' club, with featured products to include rare, premium and award-winning gins sourced from innovative Australian and overseas distilleries.

In return for a $95 monthly subscription, members receive a bottle of artisan gin monthly - December's featured gin was RIVO Gin made by a small batch producer in Italy's Lake Como - plus an accompanying guide to each gin, its botanicals, tasting notes, some cocktail recipes and details on its place of origin.

New members are also being offered a $161 gift set – a Spiegelau perfect serve large crystal mixing glass, a copper bar spoon, a copper Hawthorne strainer and a copper bell jigger, and Gin Society members are invited to attend exclusive Gin Society events.
