The Food Technology Queensland (foodTech) exhibition will now be held from the 26-28 June, instead of 24-26 July 2016.

The foodTech date change, say organisers, will better facilitate the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology’s annual conference, and will avoid a clash with the American IFT.

“Our exhibition is well advanced and we are in consultation with the Queensland government to add substantial activities to the event,” said event director Peter Petherick of Diversified Communications Australia.

“These activities will no doubt strengthen the event and other groups are looking to be involved and further activities are in the planning stage.

“We look forward to the new June dates and this becoming a long running event for the Queensland food industry,” Petherick said.

The show will take place at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
