Mighty Craft (formerly Founders First) has announced it will invest up to $1.5 million into Slipstream Brewing Co. to accelerate its growth.

The investment by convertible not and debt funding will see Mighty Craft own 61 per cent of Slipstream and its financial results will consolidate into Mighty Craft’s.

The funds will launch a new brewpub at the brewery in Brisbane, expand capacity at the site and invest in brand marketing and innovation.

Mighty Craft said Slipstream grew 69 per cent in Q1 on previous year performance and will contribute ~$3 million in sales on a consolidated basis.

With additional production equipment, it will increase output to one million litres.

Might Craft was founded in 2017 and is looking to create a craft beverage collective.
