Meluka Australia has received its first tea tree honey order from Chinese distributor Yandi Biotech, following the successful sales of Meluka’s native raw honey product in China.

In May, Meluka’s honey range launched in China through Yandi’s online portal, which has around a million members in its distribution network.

A shipment of 2,112 units of Meluka tea tree honey will soon make its way to Yandi’s network across China. It will be the third Meluka product launched onto the platform.

“The company is very encouraged by Yandi placing their first order for our unique tea tree honey,” said managing director of Eve Investments, parent company of Meluka Australia, Bill Fry.

“The response to our native honey in Yandi’s network has been incredibly strong and Eve looks forward to working closely with Yandi to launch this new product into their network in the coming months.”

Earlier in the year, Meluka expanded into the US with its bio-fermented honey and lemon concentrate, as well as launching a limited-edition black label honey to support bushfire affected Australians.
