Kellogg Company's goal of reducing the sugar and sodium levels in its cereals as well as removing artificial colours and flavours has been met, according to the company's 2016/2017 Corporate Responsibility Report.

The report also outlines its achievements so far through its Breakfasts for Better Days commitment, which aims to create "three billion better days" for people around the world by 2025.

This includes donations of 2.5 billion servings of food to people in need and expanding breakfast programs to reach two million children globally.

Within the Asia Pacific market, Kellogg has supported school breakfast clubs in Australia through its partnership with Foodbank Australia, which now reaches over 1700 schools each week.

The company also provides ongoing food donations and support to expand hunger relief programs in New Zealand through a partnership with Auckland City Mission.

Kellogg is also working to support 500,000 farmers and their families through the Origins program, and has worked with smallholder farmers in Thailand and the International Rice Research Institute to introduce a new variant of medium-grain rice not previously seen.
