Uncle Tobys has expanded its range of 4+ Star cereals with the launch of Plus Iron.

The government’s new Health Star Rating System helps consumers choose nutritious foods more easily, highlighting healthy food products based on the number of stars.

Plus Iron joins others in the 4+ Star range, such as Cheerios and Uncle Tobys’ signature oats.

It blends crispy corn and wheat flakes with vanilla puffs, cashews and nut clusters to provide 25 per cent of the recommended daily iron intake. It provides protein, carbohydrates, and fibre as well as  iron, and Vitamins B1 and B2.

Plus Iron joins a further six varieties in the Plus range, combining tasty toasted flakes with fruit pieces and an extra nutritional boost. The Plus range includes Antioxidants, Fibre, Calcium, Omega 3, Protein, and Muesli Flakes and has a RRP of $4.96 for a 410g pack, and $6.99 for a 710g pack.
