Hickson House Distilling Co has landed a distribution partnership with Amber Beverage Group, aiming to expand their footprint in the Australian gin market.

Founded by Mikey Enright and Julian Train in 2022, the Hickson House brand quickly gained popularity within Sydney, following the opening of Hickson House Distillery and Bar in The Rocks.

Hickson House Gin has gained recognition for its craftsmanship and creation of distinctively flavoured gins, made from Australian sourced botanicals.

Amber Beverage Group is a global spirits company that founded its Australian distribution branch in 2004, that now represents more than 60 brands and products nationally. With this backing, Hickson House is gearing up for nationwide expansion.

Amber Beverage Group chief executive officer, Patrick Borg said that he’d been watching the brand with interest since it was launched in 2022.

“Having known Mikey and Julian for many years, I am excited to work together on growing Hickson House Gin in Australia.

“I speak for the entire Amber Beverage team when I say we are all very excited to welcome this great brand to our portfolio."

Hickson House Gin founder, Mikey Enright, said the company looked forward to growing its brand and this partnership over the coming years.

“Strengthening our presence throughout Australia is one of our key focus areas for the years ahead, and we believe Amber Beverage are the ones to help us do so."

The collaboration is effective from 1 July 2024, with both brands stating they are committed to delivering exceptional experiences to consumers and solidifying their positions as leaders in the gin category.
