Independent hard seltzer brand Hard FIZZ has signed a ranging deal with BWS which will initially see its Raspberry Extra Strength RTD and variety packs stocked in 1400 outlets nationwide.

That ranging includes 480 stores in the brand’s home state of Queensland, and a ‘new to market’ flavour, exclusively for BWS, is also in the works, set for launch in April.

Hard FIZZ CEO Wade Tiller said the ranging deal provided much greater access for its target demographics.

“Expanding  our national footprint is great brand alignment for us, and we love the focus that BWS is placing on younger demographics, as that very much fits our vibe and ethos.

“Raspberry Extra Strength is one of our new favourites and our variety 10 packs are very much the ‘hero’ format of the moment,” said Tiller.

In early 2023, the brand formed an advisory board to oversee corporate growth, which included former Carlton and United Breweries CEO Peter Filipovic; former CUB general counsel Zoe Solomon, and Sun Bum founder Adam Francis. At the time, it had generated $19 million in retail sales value while stocked in approximately 3200 outlets nationally, including Coles Liquor stores.

Packaging News

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
