Spraying Systems Co has launched the new GunJet low pressure spray gun for clean up and sanitation in processing and to protect against product contamination from residues or foreign material.

The gun comes in a choice of materials to suit the operating environment. The range includes a 316 stainless steel model that has been designed for food processing, as well as for use in coastal areas and on external applications and in areas exposed to process chemicals like chloride and solvents.

GunJet is available in three spray capacities: 10, 16 and 22 (38, 61 and 83lpm) at 100psi (7 bar), and the spray pattern can be adjusted from solid stream to a 50° hollow cone spray pattern, by varying the trigger pull.

It has an ergonomic design to reduce operator fatigue, clearly visible colour bands to indicate gun capacity and an optional swivel connector.

Packaging News

The World Packaging Organisation has named 234 winners for the WorldStar Packaging Awards 2026, which were selected from 481 entries submitted across 36 countries.

ACOR is calling on the Government to urgently introduce packaging reforms or risk the collapse of Australia’s plastic recycling sector and face millions of tonnes of plastic waste polluting the environment.

As 2025 draws to a close, it is clear the packaging sector has undergone one of its most consequential years in over a decade. Consolidation at the top, restructuring in the middle, and bold innovation at the edges have reshaped the industry’s horizons. At the same time, regulators, brand owners and recyclers have inched closer to a new circular operating model, even as policy clarity remains elusive.
