Garlo’s Pies has partnered up with two Sydney gyms to trial its new creation, the 'Muscle Pie'.

The pie is lean beef pie containing 26.4g of protein in each 220g serve, plus a decent serve of carbs. The average protein bar only racks in at around 20 grams of protein per serve, according to Sean Garlick, former NRL player and Garlo’s Pies MD, who says the new pies offer a better tasting alternative.

“The Muscle Pie is simply a convenient and tasty way to bulk up. By partnering with these excellent Sydney gyms I believe that this pie is in the best possible position to reach the right audiences,” Garlick said.

The Muscle Pie is available now at NextGen Fitness Ryde and Camperdown Fitness in Sydney.
