Four Pillars has relaunched its Four Pillars of the Community initiative, inviting local grassroots organisations to apply for a share of $25,000 in community grant funding.
Four Pillars has always been conscious of its impact, becoming the first carbon neutral gin distillery in Australia in 2022. The company has been running the community funding program since 2016, just two years after breaking into the industry.
Five $5,000 grants will be awarded to local Yarra Valley organisations doing great things for their local community. The grants look to support projects spanning multiple sectors, including sustainability and environmental initiatives, education and skills development, social and community inclusion programs, and Indigenous-led or co-designed initiatives.
The initiative forms part of a broader two-year, $50,000 community investment designed to encourage strong community relationships and create positive, tangible impact on the place where it all began – the Yarra Valley.
The grants are open to eligible not-for-profits and community organisations operating within Healesville and surrounding areas. To be eligible, applicants must have annual revenue under $500,000 and hold Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
Applications are now open and close on 31 March, with successful recipients to be announced at the end of April. Head to fourpillarsgin.com for further information and to apply.
