Selecting the right instrumentation is fundamental to efficient food processing, yet performance often depends as much on correct specification as the technology itself. At foodpro 2026, Food & Drink Business editor Kim Berry spoke with Archit Jha and Chris Econ from ALVI Technologies about the company's engineering-led approach to process measurement and control.

ALVI Technologies supplies a broad range of instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow and analytical measurement devices, as well as control valves, gas detection systems and turnkey process solutions. Econ explains why the company works closely with customers from the design stage to ensure the right instrument is selected for each application, helping to avoid costly performance issues later in the process.
