Food Taipei Mega Shows 2026 took place in Taiwan last week, bringing together global leaders from across the entire food industry supply chain to showcase ideas, products, and opportunities for the future food system. Food & Drink Business was in attendance to cover the latest products and innovation emerging from the region.
Integrating 5 professional expos across the supply chain, this year’s event marks the largest scale in recent years, hosting nearly 1800 domestic and international exhibitors across 4750 booths. The event highlighted key trends shaping the global food sector, including;
- Cross-sector tech integration and low-carbon shift – leveraging Taiwan’s global strengths in semiconductors, precision manufacturing, and system integration, exhibitors showcased how AI technologies optimise R&D, smart manufacturing, and supply chain management to accelerate low-carbon transformation.
- Stronger global connectivity – with participation from 33 countries, Food Taipei reinforces its status as a vital B2B hub for the Asian market. International procurement matchmaking events and industry forums on digital transformation were held throughout the show to foster cross-border collaboration.
