Global agrifood technology and innovation event, evokeAG. 2026, is headed to Melbourne this month, taking place from 17-18 February at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The cross-sector, international event brings together thought leaders and change makers in agriculture, food manufacturing, research, innovation, investment, and policy to build connections for a more resilient, productive, and profitable agricultural sector and value chain.

Over two days, speakers will dive into the uncomfortable, the uncertain and the urgently important, including: what are the radical steps for Australia to lead, rather than be left behind in the new AI-driven industrial revolution; whether agritech can truly shift the dial when the rain refuses to fall; and how Australian agriculture can weather a new era of volatile, geopolitically charged markets.

evokeAG. offers the opportunity to increase capability of the Australian food ecosystem, by attracting leaders, farmers, innovators, accelerators, researchers, universities, corporates, government and investors to one location for collaboration.

AgriFutures general manager global innovation networks, Harriet Mellish, said the 2026 program was designed to bring the entire agrifood ecosystem into the room.

“We’ve curated a dynamic lineup of speakers from every part of the agrifood value chain – from producers, startup founders, podcasters and investors to researchers, business leaders, government and Rural Research and Development Corporations (RDCs) – to ensure diverse perspectives are heard and real conversations take place across the whole sector,” said Mellish.

“As we stand on the edge of rapid technological change, evokeAG. will provide a platform for unfiltered discussions on food security, workforce challenges, climate resilience, artificial intelligence, sustainability, technology adoption, geopolitics and more. The decisions being made now will define the next decade of agriculture, and it’s essential the entire sector is part of shaping that future.”

More than 50 Australian and international startups and scaleups will attend to showcase the latest innovations for the future of agrifood technology, aiming to attract investment, forge commercial partnerships and accelerate growth.

“The startups selected for this year’s program are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in agrifood innovation,” said Mellish.

“They’re tackling real-world challenges across food production, supply chains and sustainability, while opening new pathways for growth and resilience. Their ambition mirrors the energy of the broader ecosystem, and we’re proud to play a role in accelerating their impact.”

evokeAG. is powered by AgriFutures Australia and funded by the Australian Government, Platinum Partner Elders, and host state partner, Agriculture Victoria. Head to evokeag.com for further information and to secure tickets.
