As Sydney enters another four weeks of lockdown, Dinnerly is donating free meal kits to frontline staff at Fairfield Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, including Westmead and Randwick Children’s Hospital.
Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation will work with Dinnerly to issue vouchers to order meal kits to have at home. They will contain fresh ingredients and recipes for easy to cook healthy meals, delivered to their front door.
Marley Spoon Australia CEO Rolf Weber said essential workers are putting themselves at risk to keep the community safe and shouldn’t have to worry about what they are having for dinner.
“The sacrifices they’re making every day while being on the frontline is heart-warming to see and we wanted to do our part in celebrating and supporting them. With our new fulfilment centre coming online last month, we have capacity to help where it’s needed. It’s a joy to be able to use the space for such a good cause,” said Weber.
Dinnerly is a sister brand of Marley Spoon and uses the same quality ingredients in their boxes each week. The company recently moved operations to a new 14,200 square metre purpose-built facility in Wetherill Park, Sydney, where ingredients are picked and packed into boxes.
The site has the capacity to deliver more than 10,000 meals across Australia.
